Good, but grindy for a purchased game

I enjoy the game, but considering you have to pay to play it, it seems ludicrous for the in game gains to be so low. You will have a nightmare of a time grinding up the gold to get any of the better items, something I would expect in a free game, not one I paid for. However the playable characters are nice looking; the music is decent, although repetitive; and the gameplay is fine and easily understandable, although the shield break tutorial is much later than it should have been.
